I wrote the story for this one as Katia Kozar because it's a bit different from my usual stuff. My writing mentor and I have an ongoing conversation about pen names--I have more than three, which is a lot of work, but I write in a number of distinct and different genres and I like to keep niche separation. He maintains that readers are buying the brand, which is me. I believe they're buying the niche and that I'm basically irrelevant. But I'm gradually transitioning back to one name, so it'll be interesting to see if he's right.
